Installation of the equivalence surcharge module

The procedure is simple, and you only need the compressed file of the module.
Even so, it is necessary to meet some minimum requirements to guarantee the functioning of the module:

• For Prestashop version 1.6
• For Prestashop version 1.7
• Administrator accounts in the backoffice with module installation permissions.

Settings

From this screen you can configure the percentages of the surcharge according to the type of VAT applied to the product, as well as other parameters such as:

• Show selector: Shows the equivalence surcharge selector in the customer registration form.
• Also apply to shipping costs: Also apply equivalence surcharge to shipping costs
• Also apply to gift wrapping expenses: Also apply equivalence surcharge to gift wrapping expenses
• Breakdown of taxes on the invoice: Activate the breakdown of taxes on the invoice.

The equivalence surcharge is associated with each customer and not with their addresses, so if a customer has the option to charge the equivalence surcharge enabled, it will be charged in all their addresses. The client will be able to manage whether or not to enable the surcharge from their client area.
